Topanga Film Festival adds a day to the 2010 event
With 2010 right around the corner, Topanga Film Festival co-founders Sara and Urs Baur look forward to the festival’s 6th year. Also in the works for 2010: an environmentally-themed documentary, a foray into development, production and finance of feature films as well as live and multimedia production of the beloved opera, Carmen.
Joining baurhouse in 2010 is Milena Rimassa-Merrill, an executive producer best known for Sundance competitor Other Voices, Graduation Week and Mel. Most recently, Rimassa-Merrill was a content strategist for Advance Internet LLC in New Orleans, La. who joins baurhouse as a producer/fundraiser for both the Topanga Film Festival and baurhouse, a trans-format media production, distribution and creative services company.
